Patricia Hall- Academic Enrichment Teacher
Patricia Hall is a new Academic Enrichment teacher at West Florence, and she said she is in love with WF. She has been happily teaching for about 15 years. Before she came to West Florence she was first in Kentucky, and soon after she worked for Richland 1.
Family is what brought Hall here. She is very thankful for those for who made her move-in a tad bit easier. She has children who all are grown.
Born and raised in Columbia, Hall received her undergraduate degree from the University of South Carolina. Soon after she received her graduate degree from the University of Louisville in Kentucky.
Her favorite quote is by Christa McAuliffe, the first teacher who could have gone into outer space if not for the Challenger explosion: “I touch the future I teach.” That left Hall with the mission of “leaving every child with a little more than what they had before.”
Hall was asked what were her plans after retirement and shockingly she had no answer. She said she has not thought about it yet because the practical things that need done she usually does during the summer.
One of the activities she does over the summer is traveling. Her favorite place of many so far has been New Zealand but she would like to go to England and Ireland.
