Charles Flowers- APEX Teacher

Charles Flowers is the new Apex teacher at West Florence high school. This is his first time teaching at West, and his first time teaching in over 20 years. He said if he were not teaching he would love being a mayor of a major U.S. city.

Flowers says his favorite aspect about West so far is the students. Flowers came to West hoping to reach his goal of getting his students ready for the real world. Flowers says the only obstacles he expects to face is attendance.

Flowers attended the Boys High School in Brooklyn, New York. He was encouraged by his role model, who also happens to be his father, a former VP of PanAm airlines. Flowers has two sons of his own, and aside from his work and students,Flowers love spending time with his family.
