Crawley helping students learn better
Mrs.Trudy Crawley teaches Science and Academic Support OC (Occupational Credential). This is her first year working in West Florence, her 16th year in teaching.
Crawley helps students with special needs achieve the maximum they can and can develop their skills to ensure that all students reach their potential.
This type of education requires more knowledge about a better way of educating children.
"We sometimes modify the size and number of items at an assignment or reading level to meet the needs of the student," she said.
In these courses Crawley helps students increase their understanding and reading, as well as their other skills. She is always furthering her education with teaching classes for herself.
"I like to learn more about special education topics so that I can take them back to the classroom to better help my students," Crawley said.
Crawley has another story about her life as a teacher: Lake City High - 2002-2013: 11 years Science-Chem I, Chemistry I Honors, Chem II, Physics, Carvers Bay High - 2013-2014: 1 year ninth grade academy Sciences - Physical Sciences, Chemistry for Technologies, Timmonsville High: 2014-2018.
WF is glad that Crawley’s journey brought her to the Castle.
