Wallace ready to guide WF students
Would your life change if you had someone who can guide you? Lucky for you, WF has school counselors here to help!
Margaret Wallace is a new school counselor at WF. Before becoming a guidance counselor, Wallace was a former teacher. Wallace discovered that students had issues beyond her classroom and decided to become a guidance counselor to help them.
Wallace grew up in Illinois. When she was little she liked to sled in the snow in New England. When Wallace was in high school, she was very active in extracurricular activities. She was voted the most social girl in class although she was quiet at times too. She enjoyed learning about different people’s personalities.
Wallace has one child; he is a junior in college majoring in IT. Wallace has a younger brother; he is very successful in the manufacturing industry. In her free time, Wallace likes to watch movies and travel; she really likes to travel abroad. She has traveled to France and really liked the food.
Wallace enjoys her counseling job very much.
“Counseling is the ability to help other people.” Wallace said. “It provides you the opportunity in one on one interaction.”
Wallace is also enjoying getting to know the students at WF.
“WF students are a very diverse group of students, they are intelligent and intellectual,” Wallace said. “ I enjoy working with them.”
Wallace’s biggest inspirations are her parents. They taught her to never discount the wisdom of experience.
