SGA President: Ella Kitchens

Meet Student Body President Ella Kitchens who was named to the position for the second straight year.

"I love being a student body president, it is a lot of work, stress, and energy but after an event and seeing how happy the students are it is worth it,” she said.

Kitchens won last year as a junior. She said she was shocked to win last year because she didn’t expect to win at all.

Kitchens said she’s going to miss West after graduating. She plans to major in business administration and minor in marketing in college. Her college choice as of now is the University of Mississippi, but WF will always hold a special place is her heart.

"This school has made such an impact on my life and is like another home to me. I have so much love and pride for my school and hope it continues to flourish,¨ Kitchens said.

Her SGA adviser, Michelle Cummings had only praise for Kitchens.

"She has really grown as a leader wanting to bring new and exciting things to West Florence Students,” said Cummings.
