Vick motivated by change

“I am motivated by helping and changing lives everyday,” said new WF business teacher Chad Vick.

Before coming to West Florence, Vick coordinated dual enrollment for 10 high schools in three different countries.

“West Florence by far is the best high school I've ever been a part of,” he said.

Vick accomplished what he did because he had many teachers who inspired him on his journey to continue on in the 18 years of K12 education.

When students are struggling Vick always assigns make-up work so they can get a better grade.

“Kastle Time gives a great opportunity to get caught up on assignments to get a better grade,” he said

Vick loves the idea of Kastle time because it gives additional help to students if the students utilize it right and take advantage of it in a good way.

Vick's favorite class is business courses and he jokingly said only likes math when it includes dollar signs.

Vick wants WF students to be independent.

“Being able to support yourself and make decisions on your own,” Vick said about what it means.

Vick has a wife and two kids, one in college and one in high school; his favorite sports team is the Gamecocks
